SurgiOwl Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to purchases made through the SurgiOwl website and related sales channels operated by S-Imports Pte. Ltd., Singapore. SurgiOwl™ is a trademark of S-Imports Pte. Ltd.

Product information

We aim to describe SurgiOwl products accurately. Product photographs, colours, dimensions and appearance may vary slightly depending on production configuration, display settings and product customisation. Technical specifications may vary by magnification, working distance, prescription or final fitted configuration.

Professional fitting and configuration

Certain loupes and optical products require selection or confirmation of parameters such as magnification, pupillary distance, working distance, prescription requirements or fit. The customer is responsible for providing accurate information requested for the chosen configuration. Where appropriate, we may recommend a demonstration or fitting before final configuration.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. We may change prices before an order is placed. Once an order has been accepted and paid, the agreed order price will apply unless there is an obvious pricing error that we promptly notify to the customer.

Order acceptance

Receiving an automated order confirmation does not prevent us from contacting the customer if additional fitting, prescription, payment, stock or delivery information is required. We may decline or cancel an order where supply is unavailable, payment cannot be verified, fraud is suspected, or the requested configuration cannot reasonably be supplied. Where we cancel an order after payment, the amount paid for the cancelled item will be refunded.

Shipping and delays

Shipping and delivery are governed by our Shipping & Delivery page. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed as guaranteed in writing. We will use reasonable efforts to fulfil orders promptly and to assist customers where delays occur.

Change-of-mind exchanges

A customer who is not satisfied with the selected product may request an exchange for another SurgiOwl product in accordance with our Returns & Exchanges page. For an approved change-of-mind exchange, the customer arranges and pays for return shipping to us. After inspection and approval, we will arrange delivery of the agreed replacement product. Any price difference will be settled before dispatch or refunded/credited as applicable.

Defective goods and statutory rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Singapore law. Where goods are defective, not of satisfactory quality, do not match their description, or are otherwise non-conforming at the time of delivery, the customer may have statutory remedies depending on the circumstances.

Proper use and care

Customers should use, clean, charge, store and maintain products in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product. Damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, accidental damage after delivery, improper cleaning, improper charging, or repair by an unauthorised third party may not be covered by any voluntary warranty or exchange arrangement, subject always to applicable law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, S-Imports Pte. Ltd. will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the order was placed. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits a consumer's mandatory statutory rights.

Intellectual property

The SurgiOwl name, logo, product names, website content, graphics and brand materials are owned by or licensed to S-Imports Pte. Ltd. and may not be copied or used commercially without permission, except where permitted by law.
